Genre-Bending Psycho-Thriller ‘HOUSE OF SPOILS’ Serves Up Succulent Trailer Ahead of Fantastic Fest

In anticipation of Bridget Savage Cole & Danielle Krudy‘s (Blow the Man Down) sophomore genre-bending feature House of Spoils set to receive its World Premiere at this year’s Fantastic Fest next week, before releasing globally on Prime Video in October, the first delicious trailer for the film has just dropped.

Written and directed by Savage Cole & Krudy, the film stars Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story, Argylle) as the ambitious “Chef” who opens her first restaurant – a farm-to-table establishment on a remote estate. There, she faces a daunting array of challenges, including kitchen chaos, a dubious investor, crushing self-doubts, and the powerful spirit of the estate’s previous owner, who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.

Co-starring alongside DeBose are Barbie Ferreira (Nope, “Euphoria”), Arian Moayed (“Succession”, Spider-man: No Way Home) , Amara Karan (“Moonhaven”, T.1.M.), Mikkel Bratt Silset (“Blade Runner 2099”), and Marton Csokas (Cuckoo, The Equalizer).

The film is produced by Greg Gilreath, Adam Hendricks, Drew Houpt, Alex Scharfman, Lucas Joaquin, Jason Blum with Bridget Savage Cole, Danielle Krudy, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie serving as executive producers.

Set to receive its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest on Saturday, September 21, before releasing globally on Prime Video on Thursday, October 3, we’ll leave you with the tense, psychological, sensuous and – dare we say ? – mouthwatering trailer for House of Spoils.
