Just a couple of days ago we talked about the upcoming LEGO Movie starring the voice talents of Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and Chris Pratt. The theatrical trailer will be released tomorrow but to keep us entertained we have been receiving a steady flow of teaser trailers.
The LEGO Movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Emmet is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
In the latest trailer, which certainly raises a smile or two, we get to meet Batman who is voiced in the movie by Will Arnett who you may remember played Gob Bluth in the excellent TV series Arrested Development. In the movie, Batman will be joined by other DC Superheros such as The Green Lantern (Jonah Hill), Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders) and Superman (Channing Tatum).
We can’t wait for the movie which is due for release worldwide on Valentines Day 2014.
