Nuptuals Turn Nasty as Sharks Crave Their Own All-You-Can-Eat Buffet in ‘SOMETHING IN THE WATER’

STUDIOCANAL today unveils a fear-inducing trailer and poster for Something in the Water, the adrenaline-charged, water-treading terror trip coming to UK cinemas this 5th of July 2024.

Directed by Hayley Easton-Street (veteran special effects collaborator on blockbuster films such as the Harry Potter franchise, AVP: Alien vs. Predator and Doom) and written by Cat Clarke (“Good Omens,” “Ten Percent”), the film centers on Meg (Hiftu Quasem, “Ten Percent”) who attends the wedding of old friend Lizzie (Lauren Lyle, “Outlander”) with fellow pals Cam (Nicole Rieko Setsuko, “Eavesdropping”), Ruth (Ellouise Shakespeare-Hart, “One Four Three”), and former partner Kayla (Natalie Mitson, “The Larkins”). Much to their chagrin though, an emotional reunion turns into an epic battle for survival in the Caribbean.

With Julie Baines (Christopher Smith’s brillaint genre features Creep, Triangle and Detour) producing and boasting a stellar ensemble cast, brace yourself for a beastly adventure full of chills and kills when Something in the Water hits cinemas this summer.
