The CW Drops First Trailer for DC-Set “Gotham Knights” Taking Place in the Wake of the Caped Crusader’s Murder

The CW has unveiled the first full trailer for its incoming DC-set series “Gotham Knights”.

Based on DC characters first created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, the series is written by “Batwoman” scribes Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams. The story unfolds in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder when his wayward adopted son Turner Hayes (Oscar Morgan) forms an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader – Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan), Harper Row (Fallon Smythe) and her brother Cullen Row (Tyler DiChiara).

With this rogue crew now the city’s most wanted criminals, nothing is going to be easy as they try to clear their names. But in a Gotham left without the Dark Knight to protect it, the city becomes more dangerous than ever. But hope arrives from the least expected place, as this team of mismatched fugitives becomes the city’s next generation of saviors … the Knights of Gotham.

“Gotham Knights” will launch on The CW in 2023, and in the meantime, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned trailer below.
