Plastic’s First Trailer

Another heist film? Yep you got it. Plastic appears to be a teenage version of American Hustle and indeed any heist movie going. We have a bunch of youngsters running a credit card fraud scheme and of course they get caught out.

Based on a true story where a group of friends actually managed to infiltrate one of the biggest credit card companies in the world and managed to pull off a pretty impressive diamond heist in Britain – not so silly teenagers after all! Plastic seems stimulating enough, especially after looking at the few up and coming stars who have been cast here. We have Bafta winner Will Poulter as Fordy, Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen as Yatesey and Downtown Abbey’s Ed Speleers as Sam. For the male population they have a scantily clad Emma Rigby as the full lipped blonde, Frankie. This may seem like an easy going teen flick but looking at director Julian Gibey’s past work, for example Rise of the Footsoldier (2007) and Reckoning Day (2002) this may be a bit more brutal than we think. He has also recently just completed a segment for the upcoming ABCs of Death so we should certainly be in for a treat.

Set for release on 2nd of May, feast your eyes on this heist and see if it’s your cup of tea – just make sure you hide your plastic!
