Universal and Blumhouse Productions are teaming up again with Director James DeMonaco who is returning to direct the sequel to the 2013 hit thriller The Purge. Starring Kiele Sanchez (A Perfect Getaway) and Zach Gifford (The Last Stand), The Purge: Anarchy takes the action away from the peace and tranquility of the suburbs to the city where there are no expensive home security systems and reinforced doors to hide behind.
In the latest trailer Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) takes to the streets to avenge his murdered son and somehow manages to save Carmen Ejogo (Alex Cross) from a group of savages. Desperately wanting to survive the night they team up and do their best to survive the onslaught of attacks from those who actively hunt during the annual event.
In a world of no-rules where nowhere is safe, who has what it takes to survive the hellish nightmare that The Purge brings? I guess you’ll have to check out Anarchy when it is released in cinemas across the UK on 2nd of July.
