Tomorrow sees the relese of Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa with director Jeff Tremaine and star Johnny Knoxville providing audiences with a narrative story in which they play pranks on unassuming real people in the same vein as Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno and Borat. Knoxville has endured hours of makeup chair to revive his Jackass character Irving Zisman embarking on a roadtrip with 8-year-old grandson (Jackson Nicoll).
Jackass was renowned for compiling outtakes from their big screen outings to release ‘unofficial’ sequels on DVD. Knoxville has now confirmed that Bad Grandpa 1.5 will be released simultaneously with the theatrical release on DVD and Blu-ray including appearances from Spike Jonze and Catherine Keener playing old ladies which were cut out of the final theatrical cut.
We’ll leave you with a new red band trailer and three clips from Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa which opens Wednesday, October 23.
