The “Reacher” universe is expanding with “Neagley,” a new action, mystery and thriller series that puts one of the franchise’s regular supporting characters at the centre of her own story.
Maria Sten reprises her role as Neagley, a former member of the Army’s 110th MP Special Investigations Unit, while Greyston Holt plays Hudson Riley, a by-the-book detective who becomes involved in her investigation and finds himself trying to keep up with Neagley while making sure she plays by the rules.
The series begins with Neagley learning that a close friend from her past has died in a suspicious accident. She sets out to discover what happened, drawing on the skills she developed during her military career and her years working alongside Reacher, only to uncover a larger threat.
Created by “Reacher” showrunner Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, “Neagley” is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and CBS Studios for Prime Video. All eight episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video from 16 September 2026.
Ahead of the series’ debut, CinemaChords spoke to Maria Sten, Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, and Nicholas Wootton about the shift from Neagley’s supporting role in Reacher to leading her own series, the trust and loyalty dynamics that play a central role throughout the season, and how the new series balances its action, mystery and thriller elements.
