UK film outfit Lightbulb Film Distribution has today announced that Karl R. Hearne‘s (Touched) revenge thriller The G will be released in UK & Irish cinemas nationwide from Friday 21st June.
Written and directed by Karl R. Hearne, and starring Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone, Hell Or High Water) Romane Denis (Slaxx, “The Wall), and Jonathan Koensgen (“Reacher,” “Fubar”), the film centres on a mysterious older woman intent on revenge against a corrupt legal guardian who wrecked her life. Trapped in an exploitative elderly care system, she begins to show the true strength of her character as she and her loyal granddaughter Emma fight to get her life back and take revenge on the people who did this to her.
The UK premiere took place at Glasgow Film Festival and has just screened this week at FANT Bilbao Festival where his directorial feature debut, Touched also screened in 2017.
The G will release in UK & Irish cinemas this coming 21st June, 2024.
