It would seem that there is no stopping the Marvel cinematic universe and fans of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie should hold on tight as today saw the release of the latest trailer and we here at Cinema Chords think its looks marvellous.
But for those of you who may not know about the film, James Gunn‘s feature adaptation of the popular Marvel comic book stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Djimon Hounsou, Glenn Close and features the voice talents of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. The film follows Peter Quill as he forms an alliance with a racoon, a living tree, an intergalactic assassin and a vengeful warrior to work together and stop the villainous Ronan as he threatens to destroy the galaxy.
Packed with plenty of sassy attitude combined with eye-popping action, it’s clear that Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be one different breed of superhero movie so think The Avengers meets Star Wars and you’re half way there. There are so many awesome things in this trailer. We finally get to hear Groot speak his iconic catchphrase “I am Root”, Chris Pratt’s StarLord appears to be everything we hope he would be and as for Rocket, well we can’t wait to see more from the crazy critter!
Guardians of the Galaxy will be jetting into cinemas across the UK on 31st July.
