“Day of the Fight” Set to Deliver Knockout Punch With Exclusive Premiere on the Icon Film Channel

Acclaimed actor-turned-writer-director Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire”, American Hustle, House of Gucci) steps behind the camera for Day of the Fight, a gripping tale of struggle, redemption, and personal growth. Produced by the same team behind The Irishman and Joker, the film promises to deliver a powerful, poignant, and deeply moving experience.

Michael C. Pitt (Seven Psychopaths, Funny Games) stars as “Irish Mike” Flannigan, a former middleweight champion making his comeback after serving time in prison. But before he can challenge the new champion, Flannigan must first confront the demons of his past and embark on a harrowing journey of self-discovery, sacrifice, and forgiveness.

Pitt’s compelling performance is supported by a stellar ensemble cast, including Nicolette Robinson (Woman of the Hour, One Night in Miami), John Magaro (Past Lives, Big George Foreman, LaRoy, Texas), and a trio of award-winning heavyweights: Steve Buscemi (Reservoir Dogs, Fargo), Ron Perlman (“Sons of Anarchy”, Nightmare Alley, Hellboy), and Joe Pesci (Raging Bull, The Irishman).

Day of the Fight is guaranteed to deliver a knockout tribute to the underdog when it premieres exclusively on the Icon Film Channel on February 3, 2025, and hits UK cinemas on March 7, 2025.
