Nosferatu Feedeth on his Hellish Elixir of Life in First Trailer for Robert Eggers’ Adaptation

Universal has today debuted the hugely anticipated trailer for Robert Eggers‘ (The VVitch: A New-England Folktale, The NorthmanNosferatu ahead of its January 3, 2025 theatrical release.

Written for the screen and directed by Eggers, and featuring a star-studded ensemble cast including Bill Skarsgård (It, Boy Kills World), Nicholas Hoult (Renfield, Mad Max: Fury Road), Lily-Rose Depp (Voyagers, Yoga Hosers), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (The Fall Guy, Tenet), Emma Corrin (“The Crown” “A Murder at the End of the World”), Ralph Ineson (The VVitch: A New-England Folktale, The First Omen), Simon McBurney (The Pale Blue Eye, The Conjuring 2) and Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse, Kinds of Kindness), Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

The film is produced by Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, and Robert Eggers.

Nosferatu will release in theaters on January 3, 2024. We know that time is an abyss as profound as a thousand nights, but we’re certain the trailer below will help you realize that the film will be more than worth the wait.
