‘Fear Inc.’ Trailer Promises the Ultimate Scare Package

Given the success of director Vincent Masciale and scribe Luke Barnett’s hot TV property-parodying viral videos like “A Game of Thrones Halloween” and “The Walking Fred,” this writer was more than confident that their feature debut, the satirical shocker Fear, Inc., would remain faithful to the duo’s tried and tested winning formula.

I wasn’t wrong, only this time they leave much-loved TV shows behind in favour of a supremely self-aware exploration of pretty much every cult horror movie in the book.

Unabashedly aping David Fincher’s The Game, Fear, Inc. finds the horror junkie to beat all horror junkies, Joe, desperately in need of the ultimate scare. Unwittingly hiring the services of a shady company offering a tailor-made terror experience, he soon realises that the services rendered come at a disquietingly high price.

Starring Lucas Neff, Caitlin Stasey, Chris Marquette, Stephanie Drake, Patrick Renna, Eric Lange, Naomi Grossman, Mark Moses, and Abigail Breslin, Fear Inc. hits VOD this October 21, 2016 via Electric Entertainment and will be screening at this year’s SITGES – International Fantastic Film Festival on the 13th of October.

In the meanwhile, we’ll leave you with the first official trailer which promises to deliver the “ultimate scare package.”
