Noteworthy Nods #9

CinemaChords is back with another roundup of 20 new music releases we’ve had on repeat play this past week around the office, on the daily commute there and back, and whilst frying up a stack of pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.

Last week’s faves included cuts from SerenadesThe ManateesTen Hands HighTablefoxTransistor, and Monakis, to name just a few, and you can catch up with that playlist over here if you missed it. This week has proven to be just as complicated as always to whittle all the great new releases down to just 20 tracks but, after much deliberation, our picks for this week’s playlist is below, including brand new bangers from artists such as The Waterfalls, Red Eye Pariah, Slaney Bay, The Montagues, Dead Freights, Reminders, and cheerbleederz.

As always, we hope you find a few new tracks to add to your own playlists here and we’d love to know which ones you dug the most and it would be great if you let the artists and us know which ones you enjoyed most on social media.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, the brand-new Noteworthy section here on the site is where we’re also publishing weekly videocast interviews with bands who we hope are about to become your new favorite artists. The first few are now live and you can catch the first eight episodes with StanleysThe KairosThe K’sSienneThe ClauseBlackWaters, Michael Gallagher, and Flechettes in the video playlist below. There’s an additional bonus episode with The Sherlocks which we ran to tie in with the recent release of the band’s third album “World I Understand.”
