TRAILER: Sophie Turner’s Hollywood Starlet Battles for Survival in Carlson Young’s ‘TRUST’

Republic Pictures has debuted the trailer for MTV’s “Scream” alum Carlson Young’s (Upgraded) pulse-pounding survival shocker Trust — and if you’re craving tension, betrayal, and edge-of-your-seat thrills, this one looks set to scratch that itch.

Directed by Young and written by novelist, screenwriter, and television producer Gigi Levangie (Stepmom, “Maneater”), Trust stars Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones,” X-Men: Dark Phoenix) as a fallen Hollywood starlet whose retreat to a remote mountain cabin turns into anything but a chance to escape. Betrayed by the man she trusted most, she finds herself trapped in a brutal game of survival. She can hide, but she can’t run.

Turner is supported by a great ensemble including Rhys Coiro (Entourage, “24”), Billy Campbell (“The 4400,” “Cardinal”), Peter Mensah (Gladiator II, “True Blood”), Forrest Goodluck (Cherry, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines), Gianni Paolo (Ma, “Power Book II: Ghost”), Renata Vaca (Saw X, “Familia de medianoche”), and Katey Sagal (“Sons of Anarchy,” Torn Hearts).

Produced by Miles Koules, Ketura Kestin, and Oren Koules, Trust will hit theaters exclusively on August 22, 2025.
