Gather Round a Twisted Holiday Dinner Table in Trailer for Eli Roth’s ‘THANKSGIVING’

Sony Pictures has served up the official trailer, poster and first look stills for Eli Roth’s (Cabin Fever, Hostel) upcoming slasher movie Thanksgiving, something that is sure to ring bells with those of you who remember the fake trailer segments in 2007’s Grindhouse.

Directed by Roth, from a screenplay written by Jeff Rendell and a story by Roth and Rendell, the film takes place in the aftermath of a Black Friday riot that ends in tragedy when a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?

Thanksgiving stars Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy, Ferrari), Addison Rae (He’s All That), Milo Manheim (“School Spirits”), Jalen Thomas Brooks (“Walker”), Nell Verlaque (“Big Shot”), Rick Hoffman (Hostel, “Suits”) and Gina Gershon (Face/Off, Red Heat).

Eli Roth, Roger Birnbaum, Jeff Rendell are serving Producers whilst the film’s Exec. Producers are Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Greg Denny, Kate Harrison Karman and Chris Stone.

Thanksgiving will release exclusively in theaters this November 17, 2013.
