‘CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD’ Unleashes New Clip Featuring Mindblowing Killer Clown Workout

Following its SXSW debut, RLJE Films and Shudder have unleashed a brand-new clip for Clown in a Cornfield. The clip in question comes with a fitness twist not too far removed from one you probably recall from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Here, though, Frendo the Clown does a spot of spotting for a gym rat on the bench press. You know what they say: no pain, no gain… but this gym rat doesn’t exactly end up in the great shape he was probably intending.

This, Eli Craig’s (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Little Evil) take on Adam Cesare’s terrifying novel, stars Katie Douglas (Ginny & Georgia), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!), Aaron Abrams (Hannibal), Will Sasso (The Three Stooges), and Kevin Durand (AbigailKingdom of the Planet of the Apes). The film follows Quinn (Douglas) and her father (Abrams) as they try to find peace in the small town of Kettle Springs. But things are far from peaceful. With the Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burning down and the town struggling economically, tensions are high. And when Frendo the Clown emerges from the cornfields, those tensions quickly turn deadly, with Frendo delivering a bloody reckoning to the unlucky locals.

Based on Cesare’s original 2020 novel, Clown in a Cornfield has already spawned two sequels – Clown in a Cornfield II: Frendo Lives and Clown in a Cornfield III: The Church of Frendo. With this new clip out now, anticipation for the May 9, 2025, theatrical release is hitting new personal bests.
