‘By the People, For the People: The Tour’ Brings The Rosadocs’ Largest Headline Show to Sheffield

The ‘By The People, For The People: The Tour’ project, a collaboration between premium menswear brand Marshall Artist and new music champions This Feeling, aspires to make live music more accesible for everyone. The Crooks and PG Ciarletta have thus far performed intimate homecoming shows on the tour, and The Rosadocs will headline their biggest show yet this Saturday at The Octagon in Sheffield.

The Rosadocs have remained an entirely independent outfit since their inception, relentlessy determined to achieve as much as possible on their own terms. The intersection of their indie and alt-rock musical styles possesses a particularly dynamic quality when performed in a live setting, as evidenced at concerts with the likes of The Lathums, The Reytons, The K’s and The Sherlocks.

2024 got off to a strong start with a notable performance at Chesterfield FC, closely followed by a similarly high-profile moment at Hull Kingston Rovers rugby club. The band also performed at numerous festivals, including the Isle of Wight, Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus (with Milburn), Liverpool Sound City, and This Feeling By The Sea. They also sold out their spring headline tour, while their single ‘Stand Alone’ surpassed the one million streams landmark.

The much-awaited event also boasts an impressive lineup, with support from The Crooks who look set to recreate the magic of their celebrated ‘By The People…’ show, and The Lilacs, fresh from a sell-out performance in Manchester. In addition to this, the Rosadocs will be launching a special limited-edition t-shirt, produced by Marshall Artist, which will be available exclusively at the event.

Commenting on what the concert signifies for them, the band said, “When we started in 2017 we could have never imagined even getting to play at venues such as The Octagon, never mind being close to selling them out ourselves. We sold out Sheffield City Hall’s Ballroom last November and what a party it was. This time we go bigger than ever. Everything we have ever done has been building up to this. What a special night this is going to be.”

Although Saturday’s show is completely sold out, Marshall Artist is now offering a limited number of free tickets through their social media channels as part of the ‘By The People, For The People: The Tour’. To stay up-to-date on future show announcements, be sure to follow both Marshall Artist and This Feeling.

The Rosadocs will close out 2024 with a return performance in London at Signature Brew in Haggerston. They will then hold their annual Christmas show at Gorilla Beer Hall in Mexborough, which sold out in just 48 hours. Fans can look forward to to much more from the band in the new year.

Marshall Artist’s ‘By The People, For The People: The Tour’ initiative reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth culture and giving back to the local community. By increasing accessibility to live music, the tour aims to foster shared experiences that bring people together across economic divides. Marshall Artist is also supporting ROLLA‘s fundraising concert next week to help save the iconic Salford Lads’ Club.
