Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2025: Batch #15

Another week, another crop of exciting new releases. Thanks to your impeccable recommendations and submissions, our Noteworthy Nods playlist is packed with fresh tracks to soundtrack your weekend. Your taste always remains on point, and we’re sure this week’s selections won’t disappoint.

Today’s playlist brings a diverse blend of sounds from artists who consistently make an impact. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect:

We dive in head first with The Lemonheads‘ “Deep End,” a taut, riff-driven cut that foreshadows Love Chant, their first album of original material in nearly two decades. Slated for a fall release via Fire Records, the album signals a long-overdue return to form since their 2006 self-titled release.

The Clause deliver another anthemic hit with “Nothing’s As It Seems.” This single offers a preview of their debut LP, Victim of a Casual Thing, which now has an official release date.

The K’s are also gearing up for a new album. Their latest single, “The Bends (Here We Go Again),” is a stomping preview of Pretty On The Internet, their sophomore effort dropping later this year.

Finally, Coach Party unleash a mosh-pit-ready call-to-action with “Girls!” This new single is a glimpse into their second album, Caramel, set for release on September 26, 2025, via Chess Club Records.

Supporting new talent is what keeps the music scene alive, and we’re always eager to help create that link between artists and fans. When you find a new band through our playlists or recommendations, taking a second to share your excitement on social media can really make a difference. A quick tweet, Insta post, or retweet might seem like a small thing, but it can help spread the word and grow their fanbase. These little acts of support cost nothing, yet they give artists the kind of exposure that money can’t buy. We love when our readers pay it forward and share their own discoveries with us too.

Whether it’s through InstagramFacebook, or Twitter, our team—including Howard Gorman, who keeps his DMs open for recommendations—is eager to hear about the new acts you’re passionate about. So, let us know what you’ve got to recommend that might have passed us by.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist (here) featuring the likes of CastShambolicsThe Howl & The HumShed SevenTurin BrakesEmbraceRed Rum ClubThe K’sThe SherlocksThe Slow Readers ClubStanleysThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.
