The announcement marks a new chapter for Adebimpe, known for his innovative and genre-defying contributions to music.
Produced by Adebimpe alongside Wilder Zoby, who also serves as executive producer, Thee Black Boltz is a deeply personal and visionary project. The album features additional production and contributions from his fellow TV on the Radio members, Jaleel Bunton and Jahphet Landis, as well as other collaborators, shaping a sound that is uniquely Adebimpe—rich with atmospheric textures and introspective lyricism.
Adebimpe’s songwriting has long been recognized for its exploration of the human experience, and Thee Black Boltz continues this tradition. Through its themes of existential reflection, personal struggle, and the search for meaning, the album provides a raw yet nuanced take on life’s complexities, both large and small.
