Video Interview: Dougray Scott & Kara Tointon Talk Last Passenger

Hot off the success of recent respective outings, Strike Back and The Sweeney, Dougray Scott and Kara Tointon board the kinetic thriller Last Passenger, from first-time feature film director Omid Nooshin.

Despite Nooshin’s initial failure to find anyone willing to risk taking on a newcomer, he refused to give up on his passion project, self-funding a 90-second trailer for £500 to promote his idea on the net. No sooner had he posted the video online, he became inundated with messages from interested studios, agents and investors around the globe.

Hitting the UK this Friday, October the 18th, Last Passenger finds Scott and Tointon trapped on a sabotaged last train home. As the last passengers’ options are few and far between Lewis (Scott) and the handful of other unlucky commuters find themselves stopping at nothing to bring the train to a standstill before whoever tampered with the brakes achieves his dark intentions.

Our very own James Morton spoke to Scott and Tointon and they confessed to him how eager they were to get involved with Nooshin’s vision and just how claustrophobic the whole filming process was.
