The Montagues Embark on a Brand New Chapter with Latest Rockier Single ‘WHITE LIES’

The Montagues‘ have just dropped their latest track, ‘White Lies’ which the band have described as the start of a brand new chapter; something that is apparent with this new track seeing the band embracing a decidely rockier approach then we’re accustomed to.

Commenting on the five-piece Alt Rock/indie band’s fast paced banger, replete with pounding drums and fuzzing guitars, frontman Kyle Parry said: “White Lies” has a message that I believe will resonate with many people. The song is about the little lies we tell ourselves and others to make life and relationships easier, even when we know deep down that they’re not true. We found inspiration from Nothing But Thieves’ Evolution.”

The band recorded ‘White Lies’ at the prestigious Motor Museum studio in Liverpool with the insanely supremely talented Ben Harper (The Mysterines, The Kairos). They have also racked up plenty of airplay on BBC Introducing Merseyside, BBC Introducing Wales, as well as radio time in the USA on Amazing Radio and have performed live at the Cavern Club which was featured on BBC Introducing Merseyside.

You can listen to ‘White Lies’ now on any all regular streaming platforms here.

The band have many gigs and Festivals coming up this year with further details and tickets available on their website.
