The iconic Welsh rock band Stereophonics has announced plans for their largest-ever UK and Ireland tour, set to take place across the summer of 2025. Dubbed the “Stadium Anthems” tour, this highly anticipated live outing will treat fans to a sweeping retrospective of the band’s storied career, showcasing their extensive catalog of beloved hits and fan favorites without leaving a single hit behind.
The band will kick off their tour at the Belsonic festival in Belfast, before taking the stage at some of the largest and most prestigious venues across the region. Their stops will include performances at Dublin’s St. Anne’s Park, Virgin Media Park in Cork, the iconic Finsbury Park in London, John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield, and a summer festival set at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow as part of the city’s Summer Sessions concert series. However, the real highlight is sure to be the band’s triumphant homecoming show at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
In a recent statement, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour and teased the bands 13th studio album’s forthcoming release: “Being on the road again with my best friends, playing all the hits of this band’s catalogue for people in huge outdoor gatherings through the summer of 2025 makes me so excited. We should make a new album…oh wait …we already did that! See ya there for more good times…. TUNE!!! TUNE!!! TUNE!!”
