Sharlto Copley is The Unabomber in ‘TED K’ Red Band Trailer

Today, Super LTD has revealed the official red band trailer for acclaimed director Tony Stone’s latest film, TED K: A chilling portrait of one of America’s most complex and eccentric killers, Theodore J. Kaczynski, played with unnerving intimacy by Sharlto Copley (District 9, Elysium, Open Grave), who also serves as a producer on the film.

Contrasting the criminal with the rustic, this bracing, cinematic journey into the tortured mind of the Harvard-educated hermetic madman of Montana follows Kaczynski deep into the American Rocky Mountains where he sought refuge from modern society. His dark writings forewarned of a society ruled by technology. As the outside world encroached on his mountain sanctuary, he slowly became radicalized with rage. What began with small acts of sabotage, culminated with deadly bomb attacks, national media attention, and the largest manhunt in American history.

Ted K was co-written by Stone, Gaddy Davis, and John Rosenthal based on Ted Kaczynski’s diaries and writings, with the film now confirmed for a February 18, 2022 release. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned red band trailer:
