Kaleidoscope Entertainment has announced that Row, its upcoming oceanic survival-thriller, will have its world premiere at the 33rd Raindance Film Festival on June 21st.
Directed by Matt Losasso, Row stars Bella Dayne (“Humans”), Sophie Skelton (“Outlander”), Akshey Khanna, Nick Skaugen, Tam Dean-Burn, and Mark Strepan. The film tells the story of a young woman who, after being washed ashore in Scotland on a blood-stained rowing boat, must piece together her fractured memories to prove her innocence following a failed trans-Atlantic World Record attempt.
The film has been nominated for four awards at the festival: Best Performance in a UK Feature (Bella Dayne), Best UK Feature, Best Director of a UK Feature (Matthew Losasso), and Best UK Cinematography.
Filming for Row took place over five weeks in Caithness, Scotland, with additional interior shots at the House of the Northern Gate near John O’Groats. Aquatic scenes were filmed using a specially created water tank, with some shooting also taking place at sea and on a sound stage.
Tickets for the premiere are available here.
