Phil Dunster Joins His “Ted Lasso” Co-star For a Sneak Peek of “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas”

In anticipation of next week’s premiere of “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas” on 22 November, Apple TV+ has gifted fans an early Christmas present in the form of a full-length performance taken from the festive extravaganza. Hannah’s “Ted Lasso” co-star Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt) and the Fabulous Lounge Swingers accompany her for a cheeky rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” which is sure to get you in the festive spirit.

This musical extravaganza will see Emmy-winning star Hannah Waddingham ring in the holiday season with host of special guests at the London Coliseum. The special was recorded in front of a live audience, and viewers around the world will be able to join Waddingham on Apple TV+ as she celebrates her favourite time of year by performing festive classics backed by a spectacular big band.

Guests joining Waddingham on stage will include Sam Ryder, Luke Evans, Leslie Odom Jr., Phil Dunster, and many more, with additional performers including the English National Opera, the London Gay Men’s Chorus, The Fabulous Lounge Swingers, and an 18-piece band. Along the way, Hannah shares her personal journey to this magical moment with anecdotes and memories about her own holiday experiences.

A companion album has also been confirmed which will be launching on the the same date. This will be available on all music streaming platforms and is available to pre-save now here.

“Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas” is produced by Done + Dusted (“Beauty & The Beast: A 30th Celebration”, John Legend’s “A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy,” “The Little Mermaid Live!,” London Olympic opening and closing ceremonies), the same team behind Apple’s hit “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.” Executive producers are Waddingham, Katy Mullan, Moira Ross, Raj Kapoor and Nick Todisco. The holiday special will be directed by BAFTA Award winner Hamish Hamilton (Oscars, Grammys, Super Bowl halftime show, London Olympics opening and closing ceremonies).

“Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas” will debut worldwide on 22 November, 2023 on Apple TV+.
