Nicolas Cage is Joel Kinnaman’s Barmy Back-seat Driver in ‘SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL’ Trailer

Nicolas Cage is on the crest of a perpetual wave right now, taking on a plethora of roles, many of which are some of the best performances of his career. And if the first trailer RLJE Films has just dropped for Yuval Adler’s (The Secrets We Keep) psychological horror, Sympathy for the Devil is anything to go by, audiences are in for another Cage gonzo-shocker treat when the film releases on July 28, 2023.

Directed by Adler, from a script penned by Luke Paradise (Lost on a Mountain in Maine), and co-starring Joel Kinnaman (who also starred in Adler’s The Secrets We Keep), Sympathy for the Devil follows a family man (Kinnaman) who, after being forced to drive a mysterious passenger (Cage) at gunpoint, finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse where it becomes clear that not everything is at it seems.

Sympathy for the Devil releases in theaters and On Demand this July 28, 2023 and, in the meantime, we’ll leave you to strap in and enjoy the aforementioned trailer below.
