New Trailer For Gareth Edwards’ Epic Sci-Fi Action Thiller ‘THE CREATOR’ Takes Us Behind AI Enemy Lines

20th Century Studios, New Regency and Entertainment One have just debuted a new trailer for Gareth Edwards‘ (Rogue One, Godzilla) epic sci-fi action thriller The Creator, ahead of its 29 September theatrical release date.

Penned by Edwards and Chris Weitz from an original story by Edwards, the film stars John David Washington (Tenet), Gemma Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Inception, Sturgill Simpson (Dog), newcomer Madeleine UYuna Voyled and Allison Janney (I, Tonya).

The Creator takes place in the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, where Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is assigned to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war… and humanity itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives venture behind enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory… only to discover that the world-ending weapon he’s been ordered to destroy is an AI in the form of a young child.

Producers of the film are Gareth Edwards, Kiri Hart, Jim Spencer and Arnon Milchan. Executive producers are Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Nick Meyer and Zev Foreman.
