‘NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH’ Thriller Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid Acquired by RLJE Films For April Release

RLJE Films has secured the North American rights to Neighborhood Watch (previously titled Nowhere Men), setting the stage for its theatrical and on-demand release on April 25, 2025.

Directed by Duncan Skiles (The Clovehitch Killer, The Last of the Great Romantics), from a screenplay penned by Sean Farley and starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Boys,” “The Walking Dead,” Watchmen), Jack Quaid (Novocaine, Companion, “The Boys”), and Malin Akerman (Watchmen, The Final Girls, “Billions”), this character-driven mystery follows Simon (Quaid), a young man struggling with mental health issues, who becomes convinced he’s witnessed an abduction. When the police dismiss his claims, Simon turns to his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a disillusioned former security guard with his own complicated past. As they dig into the mystery of the disappearance, their investigation forces them to confront both the hidden truths surrounding the event and their personal demons.

The film is produced by Luke Daniels, Greg Lauritano, Vince Jolivette, Chris Bellant, Kurt Fethke, and Jake Robinson. RLJE Films secured the acquisition deal through Mark Ward and Brandon Harmer, working closely with the film’s production team.

Helmer Skiles shared his thoughts on the protagonists’ singular dynamic at the heart of the film, saying, “I fell in love with Neighborhood Watch because of Ed and Simon’s unique relationship, which Jeff and Jack brought to life with care and commitment … By the end of production, our entire crew had joined me in their love for this unlikely duo, creating a special energy that touched every scene. We are excited to bring this film to theaters and hope audiences connect with these characters as deeply as we have.”

Mark Ward, Chief Acquisitions Officer at RLJE Films, added, “Neighborhood Watch sees Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid build on each other’s talents to unravel a suspenseful and surprising mystery, and Duncan Skiles has crafted a smart character-driven thriller that keeps you guessing. We can’t wait for viewers to unravel this unpredictable journey.”

With the film’s release fast approaching, the trailer will likely drop any day now. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with a selection of sneak peek stills from the movie.
