Maxïmo Park Salute the Power of Music with Infectiously Rousing New Single ‘FAVOURITE SONGS’

After over 18 months since their last release, Maxïmo Park are kicking off an exciting new chapter with their feel-good anthem “Favourite Songs,” which radiates an infectious optimism as frontman Paul Smith’s uplifting vocals promise that “all of our troubles will fade away.”

Propelled by jerky riffs, shimmering synths and a driving chorus, “Favourite Songs” serves as an ode to music’s ability to provide an escape, forge unbreakable bonds and send the strongest of messages. “Our aim was to create a peppy yet powerful ode to the consolation of music and companionship in the face of other people’s preconceptions,” says Smith.

The new single arrives right on time as Maxïmo Park have also announced news of an upcoming UK and EU headline tour in the Autumn (tour dates listed below).
