Maleficent is Queen of the moors in one of three newly released videos
It’s less than two weeks now until Maleficent bursts onto the big screen here in the UK and to whet our appetites further Disney have released several new videos for us.
We have the ‘Queen of the Moors’ clip which features Angelina Jolie as Maleficent walking to her throne and terrifying the wildlife as she does so. We also have a clip of the moment where Aurora pricks her finger on the spinning wheel. This one has a little bit more going on than just the pricking of the finger however, and although it has made us pretty intrigued, it potentially could be seen as being a minor spoiler so be warned.
Alongside the new clips we also have a ‘Light and Dark’ featurette which has several people including Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning discussing the movie’s balance between lightness and darkness, as well as their characters and the movie itself.
Maleficent shall reach UK theatres on the 28th May and its cast includes Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Juno Temple, Imelda Staunton, Sharlto Copley and Lesley Manville.
