Liam Neeson’s Nightmare at 20,000 Feet in Non-Stop Trailer

With the Taken franchise, The A Team and Unknown, Liam Neeson has certainly dug out his personal alcove in the action market. And it doesn’t look like he’ll be throwing in this particular towel anytime soon with Taken 3 announced together with leading roles in two Jaume Collet-Serra (Unkown) directed actioners. Neeson has been tapped to play an aging hitman in the thriller Run All Night and a US air marshal caught up in a nightmare at 20,000 feet in the upcoming Non-Stop.

The latter has just received its first trailer which finds the lead on a commercial flight to London. It’s not long before he pays absolutely no attention to the ‘switch off all mobile phone’ warnings and receives a text message out of the blue threatening the death of one passenger every 20 minutes unless a hefty sum of $150 million is transferred into a specified bank account. Just to make things all the more easier for Neeson, said bank account just so happens to be his own savings account leading the U.S. government into believing he is the catalyst behind the chaos.

Given the plot details we’re surprised Fox didn’t snap this up as a prequel to Jack Bauer’s upcoming stint in London in 24: Live Another Day.

Non-Stop is set for a February 28th, 2014 release with Neeson starring alongside Julianne Moore (Carrie, Don Jon), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Scoot McNairy (Argo), Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) and Corey Stoll (House of Cards). We’ll leave you with the trailer for Non-Stop below.
