Kylie Minogue and Pulp Headline First Wave of Artists Announced for Bilbao BBK Live 2025

The Bilbao BBK Live music festival returns in 2025 from July 10-12, once again turning the city into a thriving hub of entertainment. The event promises an incomparable blend of daytime and nighttime activities, urban and natural settings, music and local cuisine, and intimate and shared experiences. Festivalgoers will find themselves surrounded by a rich tapestry of music, art, and culture, with each decision shaping their unique journey. And today, the festival has revealed its first wave of artists, sure to leave an indelible mark on this year’s edition.

The festival will feature a headline performance by global pop sensation Kylie Minogue. With her highly praised album, Tension II, the Australian icon will take to the stage with a setlist encompassing her chart-topping hits, including “Padam Padam,” and timeless classics from her three-decade career. The recently reformed Britpop legends Pulp will also form part of the line-up, with frontman Jarvis Cocker renowned for encapsulating the sound and spirit of the 1990s. The UK’s Michael Kiwanuka, lauded for his soulful and folk-inspired sound, will also bring his stirring voice to the proceedings, while Bad Gyal will cement her reign as the queen of urban music. Latin music’s rising star Nathy Peluso, fresh off a three-time Latin Grammy win, will bring the raw power of her album GRASA to Bilbao BBK Live, alongside one of the breakout stars of the year, Raye, whose album My 21st Century Blues blends R&B, soul, and dance.

The first wave of acts also includes electronic music pioneers Orbital, who were instrumental in shaping live electronic performances in the ’90s, and BICEP, who will perform their new show, CHROMA (AV DJ set), a sensory spectacular that melds cutting-edge visuals with an electronic soundscape. The Blessed Madonna will bring her celebration of queer culture and house music with WE STILL BELIEVE, while Japanese Breakfast, fronted by Michelle Zauner, will deliver a captivating performance with her distinctive blend of introspective alternative pop. Amaia is set to reappear with her signature intimate pop sensibility, while the sleek French pop stylings of L’Impératrice and the island-inspired rhythms of Polo & Pan will transport audiences into new sonic realms. The festival’s diverse musical landscape will be further showcased by the explosive punk energy of Amyl and the Sniffers, alongside the vibrant sounds of Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso.

As is customary, the lineup also features new, emerging talent. National acts such as Carolina Durante, well-known for their adventurous spirit, will be making a return visit to BBK Live. Rusowsky will meanwhile be making their debut appearance, with an electrifying new visual and electronic show. Judeline, whose album Bodhiria reinvents the concept of dream pop, will lend her distinctive style to the festival, alongside artists such as Fat Dog, Wunderhorse, English Teacher, and Jalen Ngonda, whose retro soul is sure to light up the stage. The festival will also play host to performances by innovative jazz artist Makaya McCraven and South African indie star Alice Phoebe Lou, all of which are guaranteed to add an extra dimension to the event.

Other highlights include Jessica Pratt‘s minimalist stylings, Hidrogenesse‘s satirical electropop (celebrating 25 years in the music industry) and Cala Vento‘s 10th anniversary tour. The diverse lineup also includes Baiuca, known for their folk-electronic fusion; pablopablo, famed for their emotional sincerity; and the multicultural urban sounds of ABHIR, all adding to the promise of an all-encompassing musical feast at this year’s BBK Live. Local talent will also be given due recognition, with acts such as Hofe x 4:40, Mirua, and Tatta & Denso exemplifying Bilbao’s diverse and dynamic music scene.

With its perfect blend of legendary artists and exciting new talents, Bilbao BBK Live 2024 is shaping up to be a must-visit festival in 2025 — a place to discover your next favorite band, create unforgettable memories, and experience the magic of music in a truly breathtaking setting, with spectacular views of Bilbao.
