Pioneering UK hip-hop and electronic dance group, Stereo MC’s, have announced their “True To Life” tour, set to traverse the UK and Ireland in late 2025 and early 2026. This announcement follows a notable and nostalgic appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January, where they performed their seminal track “Connected,” and a series of US dates, culminating in an appearance at the Cruel World festival alongside the likes of New Order, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Garbage and Madness in May.
The newly announced 11-date UK and Ireland tour will commence on November 27th at Glasgow’s St Luke’s, continuing through key cities including Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, and Birmingham, before concluding with a two-night residency at Dublin’s Button Factory on January 30th and 31st, 2026. This tour marks the band’s first extensive European run since 2014.
Original members Rob Birch (Rob B), Nick Hallam, and Cath Coffey, alongside drummer/percussionist Tansay Omar, will take the stage, delivering a set that draws from their extensive catalogue of seven studio albums. Audiences can anticipate performances of classic tracks such as the aforementioned classic “Connected,” as well as “Step It Up,” “Elevate My Mind,” and “Lost In Music,” alongside potential new material.
Birch offered insight into the band’s current creative direction, stating, “There are many influences in the melting pot being shaped by this time we live in. In the same way as we look back for inspiration, we are charged by the present and that’s how we work: combining old methods with modern technology. The more diverse our music becomes, the happier I feel.”
Hallam added, “There’ll be a lot of new music… some club orientated in keeping with our label and recent outlook, and some more in the Stereo MC’s known mould. When the two merge as one, we will be there.”
