The third season of the Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery-created action crime show, “Gangs of London,” is poised to rekindle its popularity once again as the powerful criminal organizations that control the city’s underbelly ready themselves for an epic power struggle.
A first teaser has just dropped and sees the return of, among others, Elliot Carter (Sope Dirisu – “Slow Horses,” His House), Sean Wallace (Joe Cole – A Prayer Before Dawn, “Peaky Blinders” ), Marian Wallace (Michelle Fairley – Small Things Like These, “Game of Thrones”), Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati – Conclave, See How They Run), Billy Wallace (Brian Vernel – Papillon, Let Us Prey), Lale (Narges Rashidi – Under The Shadow, “The Allegation”) and Asif Afid (Asif Raza Mir – “Jaan E Jahan”).
New cast regulars in season three include Andrew Koji (Bullet Train, Boy Kills World), Richard Dormer (’71, “Game of Thrones”) and T’Nia Miller (“The Fall of the House of Usher”, “The Haunting of Bly Manor”), whilst Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia, Scum), Ruth Sheen (Cyrano, “Brassic”) and Mat Fraser (“The Mandalorian”, “The Full Monty”) will appear in guest starring roles.
As the teaser tantalizes, a spiked shipment of cocaine has causes chaos to erupt in London, leaving hundreds dead and the delicate balance of power in the hands of London’s most ruthless players as fan-favourite characters collide with new faces bound by blood ties, sparking brutal power struggles, unexpected alliances, and fierce rivalries.
Former undercover cop turned gangster Elliot navigates his new role as a top-level criminal alongside the Dumanis, but the spiking throws their operations into disarray. The Wallaces, Luan, Lale, and the street gangs face devastating consequences as personal vendettas collide with professional power struggles bleeding into violent turf wars. As the battle for control of London’s criminal underworld intensifies, no one is safe, and the stakes have never been higher. The question on everyone’s mind is, who is truly pulling the strings behind what was clearly a calculated attack?
