First Need For Speed Trailer Cruises In

As this Sunday will witness the world’s Breaking Bad sendoff, we are relieved, to say the least, for a glimpse of Aaron Paul in the first trailer released for Dreamwork’s upcoming high-octane actioner, Need for Speed, based on the popular video game franchise of the same name.

Helmed by stuntman-turned-director Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) and adapted from a script from George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau, The Bourne Ultimatum) and John Gatins (Real Steel, Flight), Need for Speed takes Tobey Marshall (Paul), an underground street racer and ex-con, on a cross-country race in an attempt to seek revenge against a wealthy business associate who framed him for the murder of his best friend.

Joining Paul for the ride are a stellar cast including Imogen Poots (Filth), Dominic Cooper (Dead Man Down), Rami Malek (Oldboy), Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey) and Michael Keaton (RoboCop) with the film slated for a March 14, 2014 release date.
