Brainstorm Media has debuted the official trailer for Bury The Devil, the upcoming horror feature directed by Adam O’Brien (MOM), ahead of its release in select theaters and on demand on August 21.
Dubbed the “1917 of horror,” Bury The Devil unfolds in a single continuous shot and real-time narrative, following a nurse trapped in an isolated home with a dementia patient as a demonic presence threatens everyone inside.
The official synopsis reads: When her dementia patient begins behaving strangely, a nurse suspects things are not what they seem. As the night unfolds, she soon discovers she is trapped with a demonic presence seeping through the cracks of the old home.
The film is directed by O’Brien from a screenplay by John Petrizzi and Brad Hodson. Producers are Philip Kalin-Hajdu, Benoit Beaulieu and Adam O’Brien.
The cast features Dawn Ford, Emmanuelle Lussier Martinez and Bill Rowat.
According to the film’s IMDb page, Bury The Devil is the first entry in a planned trilogy of films.
Bury The Devil opens in select theaters and will also be available on demand beginning August 21.
