Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2025: Batch #10

Another week, another wave of exciting new music releases! Thanks to your spot-on recommendations and submissions, our Noteworthy Nods playlist is packed with sizzling tracks to keep your ears entertained. You’ve got fantastic taste, and we hope this roundup provides the perfect soundtrack for your weekend.

This week’s selection is bursting with fresh sounds from talented artists who never fail to impress. A few highlights include: The Lilacs, who’ve just dropped their debut EP today. We couldn’t resist featuring the title track, ‘The 395 (To Forever)’ — though honestly, every single track on this EP elevates the band to new heights. It’s a bold, cohesive collection that’ll definitely get you pumped up for a night on the town. You can watch our full interview with the band’s frontman, Ollie Anglesea right here.

The Lottery Winners have also unleashed their much-anticipated 4th album, KOKO, this morning. But before you dive into the full release, they teased us earlier this week with a single featuring none other than Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger. It’s a perfect blend of both artists’ styles—no gimmicks, just an expertly crafted collaboration. You can read our full review of KOKO here.

The Voyd makes a welcome return today with their stomping new single, ‘Buy One Get Two Free— a track that’s bound to become a live favorite when the band hits the road.

Meanwhile, Irish post-punk duo Basht. have dropped ‘Vain,’ the first single from their upcoming Bitter & Twisted EP, produced by Embrace’s Richard McNamara. With distorted guitars and spoken-word vocals, it’s a dark, thrilling preview of what’s to come.

And these are just a few of the tracks featured on this week’s regular hour-long playlist.

Supporting emerging talent is at the heart of the music community, and we’re always excited to help create connections between artists and fans. When you discover a new band through our playlists and recommendations, taking a moment to share your excitement on social media can have a huge impact. A simple tweet, Instagram post, or retweet may seem like a small gesture, but it amplifies the reach of these rising artists and helps grow their fanbase. These small acts of support cost nothing, yet provide invaluable exposure for musicians working tirelessly to share their music with the world. We’re always grateful when our readers pay that kindness forward by sharing their own discoveries with us.

Whether it’s through InstagramFacebook, or Twitter, our team—including Howard Gorman, who keeps his DMs open for recommendations—is eager to hear about the new acts you’re passionate about. So, let us know what you’ve got to recommend that might have passed us by.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist (here) featuring the likes of The Slow Readers Club, The Lottery Winners, The LilacsStarsailorKyle FalconerCastShed SevenTurin BrakesEmbrace, and many more.
