The past week has seen the release of a wealth of new music, with each new release offering something new and exciting. Your feedback and recommendations have been a valuable source of inspiration, allowing us to widen our horizons and discover new artists and sounds. Your contributions to our weekly ‘Noteworthy Nods’ playlist are always appreciated, particularly in introducing us to lesser-known artists that have quickly become mainstays on our playlists.
Highlights from last week included brand new material from the likes of of The Barratts, BERRIES, Balancing Act, Razorlight and The Montagues (which you can still catch up with here) whilst this week’s selection includes a series of outstanding new releases, including new material from The Wombats in the form of the melodically raw and intimate single, ‘Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want To Come”; ‘Technofear,’ the latest single from indie noir heroes The Slow Readers Club; ‘Thank You,’ the dynamic new offering from Dutch Mustard; ‘All the Same,’ a brand new energetic jolt of punk from Drella; and Fright Years‘ emotionally charged ‘Stars.’
As always, we’re all about getting the word out, especially when it comes to rising bands who appreciate, and deserve, all the support they can get, so you’d be doing them all a big favor by showing your support for the music you’ve been enjoying on our lists by sending them your love on social media.
After all, a tweet, an Instagram post, or even just a retweet doesn’t cost a penny and goes a long way to helping musicians out. We’re also always more than grateful for any suggestions/recommendations our readers might have which we’d love for you to share with us over on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. You can also contact Howard Gorman directly on Twitter here where his DM door is always open for any recommendations.
And please don’t forget to show some love for fresh tunes and rising stars by hitting those share buttons. A little social media boost goes a long way for up-and-comers. And we’d love to hear anysuggestions from you over on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. You can also contact Howard directly on Twitter here where his DM door is always wide open.
