Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 1

Happy New Year one and all and welcome to the first round of Noteworthy Nods, that time of the week when we reveal our favourite fresh-off-the-press releases that have been pumping on our office stereo on repeat play.

Without further ado, today’s playlist features a host of top tracks from artists including The Manatees, SNAYX, We Are Scientists, Marsicans, Afflecks Palace, and Billy Nomates.

We hope you enjoy this week’s essential playlist as much as we do and, as always, please do drop us a tweet to let us (and more importantly the musicians) know which ones you’ve bookmarked for future repeat play.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes ongoing videocast interviews featuring artist we hope either already are or, are about to become your new favourites. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of Turin BrakesEmbraceThe SherlocksStanleysThe K’sThe NativeThe Clause, and many more. Stay tuned as we have lined up a second series of interviews which will kick off next week with our first guests for the year, The Manatees.

It’s time to sign off but don’t be a stranger! Please do send any recommendations or track submissions to us over on Twitter and Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy the tracks we’ve picked out for you this week.
