Its expanding sweep—part raga-pop, part cosmic plea—is bolstered by a fuller, more muscular band arrangement, giving the track a newly charged energy and the weight of a potential live show closer.
Shale – Made With Love
‘Made With Love’ is a thrilling collision of post-punk urgency and melodic ambition. It glimmers with the hooks of Marion, yet threads in a darker, feistier edge that evokes the brooding intensity of Nick Cave and the early sweep of U2. Jangly guitars and taut, emotionally charged vocals push the song forward, weaving a tension that feels both brooding and propulsive.
Electric Enemy – Afraid
‘Afraid’ eases in with the restrained, early Radiohead (Pablo Honey) melancholy before bursting into the anthemic, sing‑along energy of Oasis a-la ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger.’ Jim Lawton’s vocals carry a hint of Gallagher swagger, and the track rides that push-and-pull with effortless energy.
CQ Wrestling – Guns in Their Hands
