Trailer for John-Michael Powell’s ‘Violent Ends’ Teases Blood Ties and Fallout in the Ozarks

The trailer has dropped for Independent Film Company‘s Violent Ends, an upcoming Southern-set revenge thriller written and directed by John-Michael Powell (The Send-off). Set against the backdrop of the Ozark Mountains, the film follows Lucas Frost (Billy MagnussenNo Time To Die, Road House), a man raised in a crime family who tries to escape his past to build a life with his fiancée Emma (Alexandra ShippAnyone But You, Silk Road), only to be pulled back in after his cousin, Sid (James Badge DaleKing Ivory, “Hightown”), commits an armed robbery with devastating consequences.

The film also stars Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, and Nick Stahl.

Violent Ends is produced by Vincent Sieber-Smith and Undine Buka, and executive produced by Catherine Fegan-Kim and Alex Kim via Midnight Road Entertainment, and Billy Magnussen via his production banner, HappyBad Bungalow.

Violent Ends released exclusively in theaters on October 31.
