Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce are set to star in Queen of the Falls, an indie feature based on a play by James Graham. While plot details remain under wraps, the film is said to be a music-infused love story about two lovers on the run.
The project comes from award-winning filmmaking duo Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia, who both write and direct. The pair are no strangers to critical acclaim: their 2014 feature H. played Venice, Sundance, and Berlin, while Initials S.G. earned them the Nora Ephron Award at Tribeca, cementing their reputation as indie auteurs to watch.
Grammy-winning composer Marius De Vries (La La Land, Moulin Rouge) is set to score the film, while choreographer Celia Rowlson Hall (The Testament of Anne Lee, Aftersun) handles movement, ensuring music and choreography are woven seamlessly into the storytelling.
Oscar-winning producer Mollye Asher (Nomadland, The Rider) and Shruti Ganguly (H., Initials S.G.) produce the project. Sources state that the film is expected to enter principal photography in October 2025.
