After kicking off 2025 in spectacular fashion, warming up the massive stadiums as special guests to Oasis, Cast are gearing up to keep the momentum blazing well into next year. Marking a huge milestone, they’ll celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic debut All Change with an extensive headline tour — and on top of that, fans can look forward to brand-new music dropping soon.
On January 30th, via Manchester’s Scruff of the Neck Records, Cast will unleash their eagerly awaited album Yeah Yeah Yeah. The record, teased recently with the swaggering new single ‘Poison Vine,’ signals a band refreshed and firing on all cylinders. The track, featuring the legendary sixties soul survivor P.P. Arnold, premiered on Radio 2 with Vernon Kaye earlier this week and instantly showcased a new, groove-heavy direction, laced with the timeless melodic hooks fans adore.
Frontman John Power reflects on the album’s sudden birth: “‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ just arrived out of the blue. There was a window of opportunity – Youth was free, the studio was free, and the band were free – and I thought, let providence prevail. No one had heard the songs apart from myself and Alan McGee, but we both thought that we had something. You could feel it, even though none of the songs were really finished, and so we decided to roll with it and record them. It was more than just trying to capture a vibe – it was about trying to record something majestic, which is how Youth describes the record.“

The sessions, produced by Youth (The Verve, Pink Floyd, Primal Scream), captured something majestic — a record that journeys through Cast’s sonic universe. From lush gospel-tinged anthems and wistful melodies to bursts of psychedelic funk and raw rock intensity.
John adds, “There’s an angst to ‘Poison Vine’ that wrote itself: ‘Something deep inside you want me to find.’ It’s got a groove and a sassiness throughout the track, but when I heard them two vocals kicking in on the chorus, then I just knew we had it! I thought, that’s it, that’s the real thing.”
P.P. Arnold needs little introduction — her career spans decades with landmark collaborations ranging from Small Faces and Nick Drake to Peter Gabriel and Oasis. After a stunning Glastonbury set reignited her spotlight, she linked up with Youth shortly before tracking her parts on Yeah Yeah Yeah. She is also featured on a second track on the album.
Yeah Yeah Yeah will be available on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital formats — but the standout has to be the limited-edition liquid-filled 12” vinyl, a striking “mouthwash effect” collector’s item limited to just 100 signed copies. Early birds placing orders on the official Cast store (first 500 orders) also snag a signed print, making this an absolute must-grab.
Before the album drops, Cast have a packed schedule. After the ongoing Oasis stadium dates through July and August, the band head into a 30th anniversary All Change headline tour from October through December — playing iconic venues across the UK and Ireland, including London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Manchester’s Albert Hall, and Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom.
