Netflix has today released a teaser trailer, artwork, and new stills for its forthcoming limited series, “Untamed,” from showrunners Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, premiering on July 17, 2025.
The mystery-thriller follows National Parks Service agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana) and new ranger Naya Vasquez (Lily Santiago), who work to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
The six-episode series also stars Sam Neill, Rosemary DeWitt, and Wilson Bethel. The show is executive produced by Mark L. Smith, Elle Smith, Eric Bana, John Wells and Erin Jontow via John Wells Productions; Todd Black and Tony Shaw for Escape Artists Entertainment, Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder Productions; Cliff Roberts for Syndicate Entertainment.
