“Dexter: Resurrection” Trailer Debuts at CCXP Mexico City, Series Premieres July 11 on Paramount+

Paramount+ has dropped the official trailer for “Dexter: Resurrection,” the highly anticipated continuation of the beloved crime drama. The trailer made its global debut during the “Dexter: Resurrection” panel at CCXP Mexico City, where fans were treated to insights from showrunner Clyde Phillips and stars Michael C. Hall and David Zayas.

The series, which premieres July 11 with two episodes on Paramount+, picks up weeks after Dexter Morgan (Hall) survives a near-fatal bullet wound at the hands of his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott). Waking up from a coma, Dexter finds his son missing, and he embarks on a desperate search through New York City to make amends. But with his dark past catching up to him, and Miami Metro detective Angel Batista (Zayas) hot on his trail, Dexter must confront the darkness he’s passed down to his son.

In addition to Hall and Zayas, the cast includes Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Neil Patrick Harris, and Krysten Ritter. The series also marks a return to the franchise for showrunner Clyde Phillips, who previously helmed “Dexter” and “Dexter: New Blood.”

With a global rollout, “Dexter: Resurrection” will stream in various international markets, including the U.K., Canada, and Australia. Fans can expect weekly episodes after the premiere, all streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

Get ready to dive back into the darkness this summer with “Dexter: Resurrection.” For more updates, follow the series on InstagramTikTokFacebookYouTube and X and join the conversation using #DexterResurrection.
