Interview: Duncan Skiles Talks Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid Investigative Thriller ‘Neighborhood Watch’

Duncan Skiles’ character-driven investigative thriller Neighborhood Watch (formerly titled Nowhere Men) has officially hit theaters and on-demand platforms RLJE Films.

Directed by Skiles, from a screenplay by Sean Farley, Neighborhood Watch stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Boys,” “The Walking Dead,” Watchmen), Jack Quaid (NovocaineCompanion, “The Boys”), and Malin Akerman (WatchmenThe Final Girls, “Billions”). The film follows Simon (Quaid), a young man grappling with mental health struggles, who becomes convinced he has witnessed an abduction. When the police dismiss his claims, Simon turns to his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a disillusioned former security guard with a troubled past. Together, they delve into the mystery of the disappearance, forcing them to confront not only the hidden truths surrounding the event but also their own personal demons.

To celebrate the film’s release, CinemaChords sat down with Skiles to discuss the unique dynamic between the protagonists, how Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid brought the characters to life with care and commitment, and his hope that audiences will connect with the characters as deeply as the cast and crew did during production.
