‘IN THE LOST LANDS’ Reveals New Trailer: Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista Lead a Dangerous Journey

STUDIOCANAL has unveiled a new trailer for In the Lost Lands, the latest fantasy extravaganza from Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter). Adapted from a short story by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, the film is shaping up to be a unique post-apocalyptic action western, set in a harsh, visually arresting world.

The plot follows Gray Alys, a powerful sorceress (Milla JovovichResident Evil, The Fifth Element), who is tasked by a queen to venture into the treacherous Lost Lands in search of a magical power. She is accompanied by Boyce, a drifter portrayed by Dave Bautista (Blade Runner 2049, Dune). The duo faces a deadly landscape populated by both human and supernatural threats as they make their way through this brutal, unforgiving terrain.

The ensemble cast joining Jovovich and Bautista includes Arly Jover (Blade, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Amara Okereke (“Red Rose,” “The Morning After”), Fraser James (Terminator: Dark Fate, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Simon Lööf (“So Long, Marianne”) and Deirdre Mullins (“Bad Sisters,” “The Couple Next Door”).

From the newly released trailer, it’s clear that Anderson’s distinct style will bring an intense energy to this dark and unpredictable narrative. The film promises to take audiences on a journey through a vast and perilous world, with every scene echoing a sense of danger and mystery.

In the Lost Lands is produced by Anderson, Jovovich, Bautista, Jeremy Bolt, Robert Kulzer, and Constantin Werner, who also co-wrote the screenplay.

Set to release in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 14 March 2025, the film is one to watch as it promises to offer a fresh take on the action-fantasy genre.
