New Chiller ‘RESTLESS’ Explores the Horror of Noisy Neighbors in UK & Irish Cinemas This April

Get ready for a suspense-ridden thriller that taps into a universal frustration: noisy neighbours. Restless, the debut feature film from writer and director Jed Hart, takes this all-too-familiar annoyance to chilling new heights, offering a gripping exploration of isolation, desperation, and the terrifying extremes one woman will go to for peace.

Set to release in UK and Irish cinemas on Friday, 4 April 2025, Restless follows Nicky (Lyndsey Marshal – “Insomnia,” “Inside Man”), a mild-mannered care home worker living a quiet, solitary life. After years of routine, Nicky’s peaceful existence is shattered when Dean (Aston McAuleyRocketman, “Behind Her Eyes”) moves in next door. His late-night parties, booming music, and disregard for basic decency push Nicky to the edge. The once serene atmosphere she’s carefully crafted is replaced by chaos—and it doesn’t take long before she can’t take it any longer.

Unable to rely on the authorities or her frightened neighbours for help, Nicky confronts Dean, only to discover that he may be more dangerous than she first thought. As her attempts to reclaim her quiet life spiral out of control, Nicky’s actions become increasingly erratic and dangerous, setting the stage for a full-blown war between the two neighbours.

With an intense focus on psychological tension, Restless is a horror film for anyone who’s ever craved silence in their own home. The film taps into the common nightmare of being stuck in an unbearable living situation, highlighting how one small disturbance can escalate into something far more sinister.

Produced by Benedict Turnbull, Iain Simpson, Jens Nielsen, Sophie Ede, and Harri Kamalanathan, with executive producers including Lyndsey Marshal, Paul Kennedy p.g.a., and Robert Watts, Restless is poised to make a big impact on horror fans and anyone who’s ever had to endure the nightmare of inconsiderate neighbours.

With a talented cast that also features Barry Ward, Kate Robbins, Denzel Baidoo and Ciara Ford, Restless promises a terrifyingly close-to-home experience that will leave you questioning just how far you’d go for a bit of peace and quiet.

Mark your calendars—Restless is coming to UK and Irish cinemas on Friday, 4 April 2025. Don’t miss the chance to witness this anxiety-inducing thriller that takes noisy neighbours to a whole new level.
