Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2024 – Batch 23

Another week, another round of great new tunes for your listening pleasure! Thanks as always to everyone who submitted songs for this week’s playlist – your recommendations are truly invaluable, allowing us to discover hidden gems and up-and-coming talents that may have otherwise slipped under the radar. The music discovery process really is an endlessly rewarding one.

Building upon the impressive momentum established by our previous selection of Noteworthy Nods (which you can still enjoy over here), fans of indie and alternative rock are in for a real treat this week, with a diverse lineup of exciting new tracks from some of the genre’s most captivating acts including Mäximo Park, Jamie Webster, Bloc Party, Saytr Play, San Quentin, Meet Arthur and Snow Patrol.

We’re dedicated to promoting up-and-coming bands. If you’ve been enjoying the music on our lists, we encourage you to show your support on social media. A simple tweet, Instagram post, or retweet can go a long way in helping these artists.

We’re also grateful for any artist recommendations from our readers. Feel free to share them with us on InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also reach out directly to Howard Gorman on Twitter, where his DMs are always open to suggestions.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists.
